On four days during Advent 2025 (29.11. | 30.11. | 06.12. | 07.12.), the “Tannengraß und Lebzeltstern” event takes place at the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing and provides the perfect setting for any Christmas trip.

As part of the “Tannengraß und Lebzeltstern” event, the Austrian Open-Air Museum Stübing presents around 100 historic buildings in the Valley of Farms, which can be explored over four days during the Christmas period, far away from the pre-Christmas hustle and bustle, inviting visitors to experience the magical atmosphere of Christmas times gone by.

Let yourself be enchanted by the soft light from the parlors of the houses that bring the story(s) of our ancestors to life. Traditional crafts such as candle-making, pottery, spinning, knitting and lace-making are presented up close. Visitors have the opportunity to try out these activities for themselves and can also purchase the lovingly crafted products as souvenirs of this eventful day.

In the museum valley, fireplaces await you, inviting you to listen to the Christmas sounds of the wind instruments. this event is a feast for the senses that takes you into a world where history and tradition come alive.

The Austrian Open-Air Museum is also open exclusively for coach groups throughout November outside the 4 special opening days of “Tannengraß & Lebzeltstern”. Although there are no culinary and musical stops in November, the museum restaurant “Zum Göller” will be happy to take care of your culinary needs.
