Located on the way from Leoben to Mariazell, the “Steirereck” inn on Pogusch is the starting point for one of the most beautiful themed hiking trails in the country. The romantic Bründelweg trail runs at an altitude of 1,000 to 1,200 meters above sea level for around 10 kilometers through the countryside above the Mürztal valley. Rustic refreshment stops and many attractions along the way guarantee an entertaining and relaxing hiking experience.

Hotel tip: Bus travel and combination options

The journey to the Pogusch via the S6 takes around 30-40 minutes. The trail starts directly opposite the Steirereck inn. The barefoot pond is the first attraction here! Buses can use the recently extended parking lot directly at the top of the pass.
