The industrial romance room is a tribute to the region's most influential industrial sector and its innovative strength. The design feature is the longest rail in the world, which is produced in Donawitz. The design is based on the furnishings of the continuous casting plant at Voestalpine Donawitz. It makes use of the furnishing elements of a factory hall, creating a unique yet cosy living ambience.
It is the only room in the Hotel Kongress with a balcony.

Owner Max Klarmann brought two special personalities on board to turn the idea into reality:
Andrea Radinger-Reisner is an artist, fashion designer and craftswoman who lives in Leoben. The exhibitions curated by her, ‘Kunst im Grünen’ and ‘Kunst, Design und Handwerk’ (at Rabenstein Castle, Frohnleiten), have both received prestigious awards and inspire numerous visitors every year.
Clemens Neugebauer is an artist and musician with a wide range of interests and activities. Perhaps his best-known work is the bull sculpture at the Red Bull Ring, which is seen by millions of people every year.
